Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, Tanzania
Upon arrival in Kilimanjaro, you will be met by your guide and transferred to your lodge, located along Arusha Airport Road with just 2km away from Arusha Airport lodge. Transit time from JRO to the lodge is approximately 1hrs 30 minutes’ drive covering a Distance of 65.4 KM/ 40.6 Miles
Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Camping
Begin your 2-Day Tanzania Camping Safari with an early morning departure from Arusha. Travel in a comfortable 4WD safari vehicle through scenic landscapes as you head toward Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobabs, and diverse wildlife.
Spend the day on an exciting game drive, spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and a variety of bird species. Capture unforgettable safari photos as you explore the park’s unique terrain and wildlife-rich plains.
